I really enjoy the piece of music we got and have been listening to it quite a few times already, so i'm looking forward to never being bored from ambient noise while floating through the emptiness of space.

This is what the readme file and the license say when you download it, it reads.

So it's their word I'm afraid, you can ask them if you can put it on YouTube.

Back on the more fun side of the topic...I'm going to find my SW:Ep3 DvD a sec...peeps keep saying that it sounds like Star Wars.

I think it's to do with the style being large scale orchestral music and the only reference point a large majority of people have in terms of exposure to large scale orchestral music; is Star Wars.

I did check out the DVD for Star Wars Ep3, I wasn't convince it was the same style as John Williams.

Thats what I was wondering. Maybe you could throw in some Star Trek movies there as well, as they also have large scale orchestral music pieces, or if you really want to go back... check out 2001: A Space Odyssey - that has real classic orchestral pieces!

Actually, the strings section particuarly is rather reminiscent of Requiem For A Tower/Lux Artena -as is the use of the choir. For space context, see Sunshine.

The music is probably some of the best I have come across in a space MMO.

Indeed it does, and it got me thinking that it reminded me of Murray Gold's piece for the Season 4 Doctor Who serries. This was being shown in the Cinemas before Season 4 started. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qfEPQqHx40c is the best quality version I could find.
