I remember when I had a 4KB/s down speed on dialup I'd never disconnect. Pissed my parents off that they couldn't use the phone.

I'm stuck with Comcast Cable 1.5MB down / 300KB up. Still, it's better than the alternative AT&T 6mb down / 100KB up.
